When we bought a little allotment near Warsaw, it was obvious that we would have some pets. Dogs...it was as clear as day, a cat...it was my idea.
It was 1998 when I first saw the british cats. I was amazed by them but I knew that this breed was not for me. When I was looking for a cat for me I found norwegian forest cats. It was the love from first sight. I made some calls to few catteries but at the end I chose Agpamis *PL. I fell in love with a beautiful tortie - Javca but she was too young. So I have to wait another 7 months for her first kittens. Emilka was the only tortie in that litter and she was mine. After all, I decided to buy also her sister - Elwirka so that Emilka didn't feel alone. I changed their names. Emilka to Mila, Elwirka to Lilka. Persuaded by the breeder I went to my first cat show...and then.
At the beginning of 2000, I registered my cattery in FiFe. "Z Sosnowego Boru *PL" - it suggested itself - norwegian forest cats and pine forest view from our house's windows.
Athani-Tania (a tortie one), from our first litter, stayed with us. And in January 2001 a blue-white male Radulf (Rudolf, Rudi) came to us from french cattery - Sweeson's. From our third litter, after Mila, we choose Caluna for us. Kala is a strong, tempered female. So as you see our cattery has started to develop quite rapidly.
In 2002 we decided to buy a male with completely different pedigree as we had before. The result was that two males came to us from norway cattery - Polarheim's. BLACKMOON (Munio) - black and silver one and ATLAS - black blotched tabby one. Their amazing character made us fall in love with them at once.
One year later our household had a new member. This time a human one. On the 2th of Mai 2003 our first child - Ala was born. She caught all of my attention at that time so I had to put aside many of the cat shows.

2005 brought many changes. Bacause Tania and Mila had to be neutered I decided to import another female. When I first saw Paloma's photo on the Tassermarkens' site I thought -"bautiful and probably reserved". She wasn't reserved (!) alhought she was almost 3 month. On Easter Sunday - Tassermarkens Paloma Picasso flew to our "Sosnowy Bór". Lomka turned out to be both bautiful and well-balanced female, with amazing character. She got Best-of-Best I at her first show in Lodz. In 11 and 12 class she won 9 of 12 shows, getting JUNIOR WINNER and the first place in the european, prestige norwegian forest cat rating - SKOGKATT OF THE YEAR and the first place in the national contest - TOP NFO.PL 2005!
Our "J" litter has just been born. Some of our cats have gone to their new owners. I hope that all of them are really happy as I am, hearing news about them, their kittens and every friendly infos. Congrats for all and thank you very much.

Our cats don't go out. They have big aviaries to dispose whenever they want. Some windows in our house are covered with safety net so that they could lay on the sill while I am sure that nothing bad will happen to them.
Our cats and kittens are under constant veterinary of Agata Augustyniak (Mostówka, phone 0-600 650 376).
