Spring was the time when Remus moved to his new home in "Krolowej Maud*PL" cattery and in winter...he became father of two litters! In "A" litter, born on 12th of July were Amma (ds0922), Agnar (d22), Agir (es) and Afi (ns). In "B" litter were two kittens - Brita (g) and Baldur (ns 0923) born on 17th of August. As a male stud he did very well! He also finished his Championship! Congrats to Dorota and Robert!

Spring came to Sonsowy Bor. Everything grows, blooms, smells! Our pheastn layed eggs, tit has nestling, our cats demand kittens. But not now. Rudyard is still looking for a new home! ENJOY!
Rudy's siter Romilda went to...Romania. Now she lives in Bukarest with Julie, Stewart, Caitlin and nfo Sacha. Remus also went to his new home although I thought he would saty with us. I miss him but don't regret this decision. He has good owners and lives nearby so we will have many occasions to meet each other.
In Mai, I had an occasion to take some pictures of our garden. I have never thought that sandy ground in Sosnowy Bor would give us so many flowers. In the middle of Mai everything turned white nad pink. In front of the house the apple tree blossomed, violets and forget-me-nots near a small river we have, "Susan" magnolia behind the terrace.
Mai is definitevely a month of azaleas and rhododendrons which we have full of here. Their blossoming, tought short, is extened - different species and varieties blossom in a different time. "Juanita" azaleas blossomed as the first one, then firered "Feuerwerk", yelloworange "Christopher Wren", violet "Blutopia", pink "Catharine van Tol", "Anthony Waterer"... and the last one, white "Schneegold".
The end of Mai is a time for Meyer's lilac "palibin" covers with amazing smelled flowers. A pair of blackbirds made his nest behind our house. In fact, Mrs. Blackbird was maiking it, Mr. was just singing. Men...
I almost forgot to mention about our wild strawberries. They appeared 3 years ago, only few bushes. Now we have a real wild strawberries field. I made a cake of them - delicious!

A year ago our Masza passed away...last time Rosa joined her on the Rainbow Bridge...We miss you so much...and won't forget.
"R" kittens have started to move out to thier new homes. Little Rilla lives in Bielsko Biala with Sabina and her family. Runia will be living in Lublin, with Krzysztof, his wife nad norwegian friend Nacho Fiords Guardian*PL. Also Pepe found his home! At the "Jedynka" cat show, he did very well, although he was defeated in the fight for certificate...he won his new family - Marysia and her parents! We wish you many happiness and joy in living with a cat.

We have new household members: three weeks ago a pair of pheasants came to us!
I took Lomka's soon to the EKKR's show, which was in Ursynowo. Pepe Pillow got Junior BIV and was nominated to BIS! The show was great, as usual and I'm looking forward to the newxt one in January. Pepe is still looking for his new home! Enjoy!

Four months has passed away since last update and we had many changes. First of all, Pilar and Piro moved to their new homes. Piro has been living with Max and his mother while Pial with Marika and Krzysztof. I'm sure they are doing great there. Pepe is still with us and has been looking for a new, loving home while taking care of his little siblings, cause...
New, surprising "R" litter has been born on 15th of October. I had other plans, it wasn't Oda's turn but life has its owen scenario. We have five kittens, 3 females - Runii Ruu (g 09), Rilla-ma-Rilla ( n09), Romilda Vane (n(s)22) and 2 males - Rudyard (d(s)0922) and Remus Lupin z Sosnowego Boru*PL (e 0922). At the end of July, there was a cat show in Cieszyn. It was very good for Arieny z Sosnowego Boru*PL, 10 year old female from our first litter. Areina won 2x BIS Neuterer and finished Distinguished Show Merit! It's the second such title for a cat with z Sosnowego Boru *PL cattery. First was Athani. I am very happy and proud! I would like to thank Basia for big heart and love, she gives to her cats. I wish you many show and breeding success!
O would also like to share some other breeding success... Last year, a couple of golden pheasants and this year they've had five nestlings. Many satisfaction gives me my hens. I got beautiful cock and one hen from my friendly vet, and this summer they had 11 chickens. Adding up a flock of pigeons and two dogs...we have a little zoo.

Our website has been neglected! It's my fault. I still don't have time...only work...too many work! It's summer holiday now, so I can put some photos of three months old P-kittens: Pepe, Piro and Pilar. They grew up so fast, I don't even know when! Each of them is different. Piro aka Pulpet, Pulpi, Pulpecik...is a big, strong male. He looks like a lion:) though he's polite and like to cuddle!
Pilar is a real Lady. She makes trouble when I don't see, then she acts as if she didn't do anything! Pepe, Pepus, Pepi...a little outsider.
Kittens can leave our home but they still have looking for their homes!

One week ago, on 20th of March, kittens after Paloma and Bond were born. This time there are three kittens - tortie girl and two red boys. They have been growing up, they've opened their eyes. I still wonder what names I have to give them... See more in kittens section.
When one life starts the other ends...After short illness our caucasian female Masza has passed away. She spent almost 11 years with us, from the beginning of cattery...

Winter in forest looks beautiful! Or looked...we've been swimming for some time. Few days ago, when I started writing news, I was complaining about road fulls of snow, icicles on our roor, that our shack was running out of wood, cats didn't want to come out. And now...what? Water is everywhere. I don't know what's better. I hope this winter will leave us soon!
I haven't been writing for some time so the time for news has come...
The first and most important...we've been waiting for "P" litter after: IC Tassemarkens Paloma Picasso JW and EC Bond El Retiro *PL JW, DSM - grandfather of Nella and Niki.
Show news:
EKKR club show 28 and 29.11.2009 Nella Nyx finished her CHAMPIONSHIP and got her first IC certificate. Oda got Ex1.
In January this year, I took Nella and Niki to XIth and XIIth EKKR shows. Unfortunaltely they weren't successful to us. Our rivalry was better. Despite those failures the show was great, thanks NFO2000 Club (which my cattery belongs to), it founded many price for topwinnig nfo cats of our club. Tania and Nelka won diplomas, kibble and many moooooooore. Maja, thank you very much!<

We are buried by snow...in the middle of October...leaves still hang on the trees...this snow.
Cold and wet outside while the world looks amazing thgourh the other side of our windows...kinda holiday! But there are two months left till Christmas...
Ups...they turned down the electric current. We have to change the tyres...The charm has gone away...
We've celebrated cats' birthady! Rudi turned nine on 14yh of September while sisters "N" one year old. The time has been running so fast...I remembered the day we were picking up Rudi at the cat show in german Unna...it was like yesterday, maybe the day before yesterday ;)
Alicja made a card for Nella i Nickan. Happy birthday my cats!
Last weekend, Oda had her debut at the cat show in Bialystok, she was in 3-6 months class. She got ex1 with amazing judge opinion. Unfortunately, she didn't show all of her beauty. Nelka was in open class, for the first time, she got CAC, twice. Little Oti lives in a new home, in Wyszkow. Olme Lunde is waiting to move to Warsaw. She will be living with red, norwegian friend :) We still have Ossa and oda. ENJOY!

Meanwhile our kittens are not so little and today they turn 11 weeks old. They are vaccinated and have been waiting for another one. We post new photos of "O" litter, Paloma and Nelka.

In may we celebrated birthday of our oldest females - Mila and Lilka. They were born 21.05.1999, 10 years ago! Also Tania has turned 9 years old so did "A" litter. "H" litter is 5 now while "B" is 8.

Some time ago, a sweet female dog appeared near our house. We decided to take care of her. My daughter called her Różyczka while I called her Szczotka, cause she didn't look like a rose.

At the EKKR Cat Show in January, Athani closed her GIP title. Winning another BIS for neuters she got the first DSM - Distinguished Show Merit in our cattery - "z Sosnowego Boru"! She finished her show career being almost 9 year old female cat.
Nella and Nickan had their show debut. First day Nella got BIV while Nickan got BIV and Nom BIS. Second day, Nella had BIS nomination. Both of them stay in our cattery :)

Kittens are 11 weeks old ! Tomorrow they will be vaccinated and after two weeks they coud be moved to new houses :). I present a new picture of them!

IP/GIC Athani z Sosnowego Boru*PL won two certificates at GIP and BEST IN SHOW NEUTERS catagory II at The International Cat Show in Warsaw (28/29 November 2008). The exhibition was organised by EKKR .

It`s cattery where living GIC Celt z Sosnowego Boru*PL , Bellena and Febris from cattery Kot Freyi*PL. Bellana is a daughter of our Anga-Nor, Febris is her granddaughter and is also the daughter of our Black Moon. Viola, I am happy you came back! Your new website is very nice!

Leto and Linka have moved in their new houses! Leto has joined his cousin, MoonNight from litter M. Because Leto and Moonio are kith and kin I hope they will be friends again. All the best to their new keepers!!!
Few days ago our female Paloma celebrated her 4th birthday! She got some presents of course! A cats toy from me and birthday card from my daughter, Alicja.
She also got birthday greetings from her Swedish family: "To my dearest Lomka: Big Big congratulations on your 4:th birthday. Hope you got a wonderful day with lots of parcels and a big cake! HIP HIP HURRA ! Best wishes from Tassemarkens family." Ylva ! Thank you very much!

I am pleased to inform you that we have a new litter. Kittens from "N" litter were born on 12th of October. There are 3 females and 2 males. They have no names now. Their mother is feeling fine so is the father. See kitten section where you can find some photos.

At the 3td and 4th EKKR show, Lantir z Sosnowego Boru got Ex1 for two times. He also won BIS Kitten. Congrats to Beata and her family. I am very happy cause that was his debut in 12 class. We were also there with Tania. She got two GIP certificates, NOM BIS and BOS! GIC Celt z Sosnowego Boru*PL got two EC certificates. Cograts to Viola!
